WELCOME!

Born in the hot summers of Austin Texas, Sunbear Arthouse offers an exciting collection of high-quality photographs inspired by life, light, color, shape, and time. These beautiful pieces of art are ready to hang and bring a wonderful visual impact to any home, office or business.

Nestled in the Sherwood Forest, next to St. Edwards Castle. The Arthouse is us, Courtney, Chloe, Barry and Lulu. We can be found regularly at Güero's on South Congress and paddle boarding on Lady Bird Lake.

The name Sunbear is a playful combination of our daughter’s middle name, Sunshine and mine, Barry.

A little more about me, Barry Link. I’ve had a camera in my hand in one form or another since I was 14. I graduated from SUNY Purchase in the late ’80s, with a BFA, and had the privilege of studying under the legendary photographer Jan Groover. She was an incredible teacher who opened my eyes to the world and sharpened my vision.

After college, I worked in a photo lab in White Plains, NY, called Everett Studios. It was an amazing place specializing in high-end creative services. Over those years, I developed into a fine art printer and had the opportunity to work for many renowned photographers. By then, a little computer program called Photoshop showed up, and I was able to incorporate that skill into years of freelance work.

Today, I am delighted to have this platform to share my work. I love photography, and creating images. For me, there is something very profound about capturing light at just the right moment and turning it into something beautiful.
